Inside the period residence of Palazzo Torriani, there will be a parade of medieval characters who will enter the heart of Dante's world, interpreting some of the most unusual and lively moments in Dante's life, such as the Alighieri battle with Forese Donati . The building that will be used as a place of representation dates back to the end of the fourteenth century and belonged to the ancestors of the current owners. A radical and skilful restoration has restored its ancient splendor, allowing it to create apartments, rooms and suites furnished with period furniture. It is inside that the parade will be held, to then flow into the characteristic garden, where the actual performance will take place. Among the historical clothes that will be shown there are some costumes, renovated for the occasion, belonging to the costume shop of the Animosi theater, sewn by Mina Mestrini, seamstress and costume designer at the Piccolo teatro in Milan, creator of costumes that entered the scene in reviews such as the Festival theater in Verona and high-quality artistic performances such as Giorgio Strehler's “Arlecchino servitore di due padroni”.
