Long but easy trail through the odd cultivated land and pine and oak woods with a beautiful view of the Sieve valley and Mount Giovi.
Once outside the town of  Consuma we move along regional road n.70 towards Pontassieve: near an ENEL electricity cabinet we take the n. 5 trail to the right that moves down to Poggio Toschi   (989 m.a.s.l.) and the church Madonna dei Tre Fossi (830 m.a.s.l).
Left of a small house near the church, we move back on the trail, pass a large stone column with a cross on the top (832 m.a.s.l.)   and keeping the same altitude we reach a fork in the road.
We take trail 5/A , but ignore trail n.5 which, to the right, leads to Turicchi..
Once on a path that dips left to Pomino, we move right and cross a pine wood  (622 m.a.s.l.) on the road to Cigliano, just 2 Km before the Pievecchia Pass.
We cross the road and continue on along the summit until we reach the church of Rugliano (472 m.a.s.l.).
We coast Villa Peruzzi  and shortly after reach state road 67 in front of the fork that leads to Colognole, just north of Scopeti (127 m.a.s.l.).
We cross the state road and take the road to Colognole across the Sieve River.
Two kilometres later we leave the paved road and move left onto the dirt road that moves parallel to the river towards Molino Uscioli (160 m.a.s.l).
Once across the river we leave trail 14 and continue left on the main road, past a metal gate.
We start to climb along panoramic bends until we reach Vallecchio (334 m.a.s.l.).
To reach Case Brucoli and Acone. From here we must follow the   SOFT signs carefully
