I Diacci offers an uncontaminated natural environment, interesting for both its scenery and its fauna. In our mountains it is easy to observe in safety wild fallow deer, roe deer, hawks, eagles, and night predators and to follow the trail of wolves.
The refuge is connected with many well-marked mountain paths such as the CAI, S.O.F.T. and the GEA.
The structure itself was made from an ancient barn and offers the night’s stay in two rooms containing 22 beds total. It has an equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms with showers.
Outside you can enjoy the shade of a fir wood and a large barbeque is available for use.
It is possible to use the nearby camp for stay in tents.
Upon request the management can organize excursions and environmental education trips with guides.
It is open everyday in July and August, from September to june on reservation.
