Hiking in the heart of the National Park of the Casentino Forests
Through centuries-old woods, imposing panoramas and high-altitude blooms, the itinerary will allow us to reach the main peaks of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines, Mount Falco and Mount Falterona, the latter already known and considered "sacred" from the Etruscans, frequent visitors to these mountains.
We will then descend to Capo d'Arno, the famous source of the most important Tuscan river, a naturalistic and suggestive place, rich in history.
Through immense beech woods we will return to the Fonte del Borbotto, the starting points of our route.
