EVENTS, CONFERENCES AND ACTIVITIES DEDICATED TO CUTTING IRONS
Two other events of fundamental importance for the territory of Scarperia will be part of the Festival: in the Palazzo dei Vicari the 48th Mostra dei Ferri Taglienti, dedicated to the "Lame del Re", with exclusive pieces- currently not exposed to the public- belonging to the Royal Armory of Turin (title of the exhibition LE LAME DEL RE. Armi bianche occidentali e orientali dell'Armeria Reale di Torino), and in the Old Proposal the 32nd Exhibition of the Custom Knife, with the most valuable names of the Italian cutlery, That they will exhibit and sell their artifacts.
The Festival will be characterized by the following activities:
• Theatrical and cinematographic performances;
• Guided tours and educational workshops for children and families;
• Panel on knives and blades;
• Demonstrations such as the forging of the blade and the real craft creation of knives;
• Suggestive performances by performers who tame fire and blades;
• Historical games such as medieval fencing;
• Personal experiences such as shaving with traditional shavers;
• Tastings of products finely cut by special tools of the trade;
• "Picnic" at the Belvedere with products previously worked with sharp irons and
served in baskets
