12th and 17th August 2022 - Passo del Giogo and Sunset in Monte Altuzzo with prior visit to MUGOT (Gothic Line Museum) -round trip hiking in the night starting at 18.00
- Visit to the II World War rebuilt bunkers and to the Monte Altuzzo military line
Before the walking a visit (ab. 1 hour) to the Museum of the Gothic Line in Ponzalla (Scarperia)
The Hiking is round the Monte Altuzzo and Passo del Giogo and it is introduced by the visit in the museum through the reconstruction of the places of the battles happened on these places and the witnesses of that period.

after the visit transfer with its own cars to the passo del Giogo to start the walking ab. 19.30 (7.30 p.m.)
Distance ab. 8.00 km
Height variation ab. 360 m S/L
End of the trip about 23.00 (11.00 p.m.)
It is recommended to take enough water and dinner- proper dressing, hiking shoes and ancillaries for the
season and for the type of walking (road surface, length and duration)
- and possibly a dressing change to leave in the car.
The indicated path may vary depending on the weather conditions and on the Group Leader decisions.

How to reach the meeting Point:
Passo del Giogo can be reached by car from Firenzuola by SP 503 plus further 6 km direction Scarperia to reach Museum MUGOT, or from Scarperia still on SP 503 where you can find Museum MUGOT 6 km before reaching Passo del Giogo.
