The traditional ‘Marrone Festival’ events return to Antonio Berti Park
Music, markets, typical products and gastronomy for an October to experience
The marrone returns as the star of the Mugello autumn. And with it, the festival of the marrone is back in San Piero a Sieve, and this year, the Mugello festival dedicated to the king of autumn, closest to Florence, will be held on three Sundays. A chestnut that, as a top product the Mugello PGI, Mugellans, Florentines and all those who want to taste it, will find on their doorstep, reachable even by train. At San Piero a Sieve, on Sundays 13, 20 and 27 October, the Pro Loco, with the patronage of the Municipality of Scarperia and San Piero and the Metropolitan City of Florence and the collaboration of Reconquista, Locura, Misericordia di San Piero, Centro Socio Culturale Villa Adami, Consulta dei Genitori and Caritas Parrocchiale di San Piero, has decided to celebrate one of the most appreciated fruits of the autumn that has just begun.
