Loop trekking from Passo della Colla di Casaglia - Loc. Le Spiagge, Palazzuolo sul Senio (FI)
GoticaLaVia, in collaboration with the environmental hiking guide Donata Petracchi and Giancarlo Barzagli, author of the book ‘Grüne Linie’, proposes a trek completely immersed in nature and history ‘On the steps of the partisans - The 36th Garibaldi Bianconcini Brigade’.
During this trek, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the company and refreshment of beech forests in their spring guise. You will observe landscapes, small details of an enchanting, simple, poetic but also severe and sometimes profoundly unfair nature.
We are in the Apennines on the border between Tuscany (Alto Mugello) and Romagna, between the Rovigo valley and Mounts Altello and Carzolano, and near Mount Battaglia. All these areas are remembered for having also been the scene of partisan battles.

MEETING POINT AND DEPARTURE: 9h15 at the rest area in front of the junction for Le Spiagge, along the SP 477 Colla di Casaglia-Palazzuolo sul Senio at approximately km 12

DIFFICULTY: Route (E): Hiking of medium difficulty
EQUIPMENT: ankle-high walking shoes, rucksack, layered clothing suitable for the season, rain and windproof clothing, gloves and hat, poles recommended.
