On Sunday 23 February at the DOP cinema in Firenzuola, the presentation to the public of the Tuscany Skytrail Tour, a circuit of races affiliated with the FISky Federazione Italiana Skyrunnuing that will work together to promote running in the mountain environment in Tuscany.
This is an absolute novelty, the result of joint work between the Federation and the main Tuscan events linked to skyrunning/Skytrail: Ultra Trail Mugello, Elba Trail, Lunigiana Skyrace and Skytrail Covigliaio.
These are sporting competitions of running in a natural mountain environment. The races are aimed at enhancing the territory of the various areas through skyrunning and trail running and promoting their founding values: sportsmanship, loyalty, appreciation of the mountains and their culture, respect for people and the environment, sharing, inclusion and conviviality.
The presentation, which will take place at the Firenzuola DOP cinema at 5 p.m. on Sunday 23 February, will be attended by the FISky regional delegate, the organisers of the four sports events, local administrators and sponsors. This will be an opportunity to explain the founding values of the project, and the sporting and competitive aspects and those of return in terms of communication and tourism.
Participation is open to all, sportsmen and women, with the intention of experiencing an evening in conviviality under the banner of the Mountain and its values. At the end of the meeting, the organisation has prepared a small aperitif to end the afternoon in conviviality.
