A whirlwind of events that tells the story of our land, with glimpses of peasant life between the 1920s and the 1960s. It tells of World War II and its consequences. And it helps us understand how true history, the real history, is the one written by the people. It helps us realize, quoting the great singer-songwriter De Gregori, how true the title of his extraordinary song "La storia siamo noi" ("We Are the History") is. On stage alongside the author of the book and the theatrical adaptation, Marco Paoli, will be the storyteller Francesco Fuligni, who will perform songs from the popular tradition.
