On the first Wednesday of the month, we host Chess Night, where laughter and chatter give way to meditative silence and intense focus—a special evening for fans of the most strategic game there is.
Players of all ages face off in a competition that is both fiercely polite and challenging, sipping herbal teas typical of library evenings.
The tension builds as the tournament progresses each month.
