St. Charles Capuchin Convent for a concert titled “Christmas in Music"
Students from the individual courses of electric bass, opera and modern singing, classical guitar, electric guitar, clarinet, horn, double bass, accordion, recorder, transverse flute, piano, sax, trumpet, violin, and cello will perform.
The evening's repertoire includes a musical journey from the Christmas tradition to the classical and blues genres and vice versa.
The event will be realized with the collaboration of the Romualdo Del Bianco Life Beyond Tourism Foundation and the “Drops of Life Kisoga-Uganda” Association, which will set up the small Desk with the presentation and sale of items made by the mothers of the children who will become part of the Kisoga Band in Uganda. All proceeds will be donated to the purchase of new instruments for the Band. The Bishop of Kisoga, a musicologist and music teacher, with the collaboration of Sister Silvia, has organized a band of boys, who study music and more. In fact, those who commit to the Band are guaranteed free school membership until the end of their courses, and this gives the boys the opportunity to study and, most importantly, the possibility of a meal a day. The establishment of the official School and Country Band will lead to public performances for school occasions and for that civil: parties, weddings, births and funerals.
Free and free admission for all citizens.
