Empowering youth leadership in non-urban areas with concrete proposal: a day of meeting and dialogue in Casaglia
On Sunday, October 27th, the Beecom Social Promotion Association, together with Foglia Tonda ODV and the Unione Montana dei Comuni del Mugello, is organizing, as part of the European Project “PlaceOut!”, a day of meetings in Casaglia at the former Elementary School to discuss, alongside local administrators, the future of our territory.
The event, held in collaboration with the Casaglia Cooperative, will consist of three parts, creating an afternoon full of ideas and inspiration:
- 4:00 PM – Autumn Pastry Workshop with Chestnuts, led by chef Laura Mazzoni. (Reservation is recommended at info@beecom.org)
- 6:00 PM – TALK: "Creating the Future. Empowering Youth Leadership in Non-Urban Areas with Concrete Proposals for Local Institutions," with Tommaso Triberti, President of the Unione Montana dei Comuni del Mugello; Silvia Notaro, Councilor for Schools and Hamlets of the Municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo; Marta Cappelli, Councilor for Culture and European Funds of the Municipality of Scarperia and San Piero; and Stefano Malevolti, Project Manager of the PlaceOut Project. Moderated by Chiara Manfriani from Foglia Tonda. The discussion will focus on how it is possible, and with which strategies, to foster the creation of future scenarios for young generations who choose to live in non-urban areas like Mugello.
- 7:30 PM – Aperitif for all participants and live music with DuoChiari, two brothers from Marradi who reinterpret some of the most beautiful Italian songs with guitar, vocals, and percussion!
All activities are free and open to everyone
The event is part of the local actions of the European project "PlaceOut!" (https://placeout.eu) co-financed by the European program Youth Together (Erasmus+ Key Action 3) and aims to build international partnerships, particularly between four areas that share similar marginal profiles in economic, social, and cultural dynamics
