The large mechanical crib set up inside the Chapel of the Company of SS. Crucifix.
The wonder of so many people, especially children, has been so great because the good and diligent friends who have achieved it, have really outdone themselves.
The panorama is very suggestive, the village with many houses, the people who work as the basket, the miller, the blacksmith, the cooper, the daily life with women to hang out clothes, to take water, the flocks of sheep, a starry sky and in the middle here is the hut with the Child Jesus, the Madonna and Saint Joseph, the ox and the donkey and the three Magi.
Many figures are in motion (the millstones of the miller that turn; incredible!), and finally surprise, received with a great applause from all present. In the left side of the crib is layer made in miniature the High Altar of the Sanctuary of SS. Crucified, with the straw cradle in the middle, here appears the figure of Graziano Melara, who brings the child into the manger.
