100 years after birth - RENATA TEBALDI narrated by Benedetto D'Orio
The Association E20 - Exceptional Events, in collaboration with the Coop Members Section of Borgo San Lorenzo and with the patronage of the Municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo, presents an initiative to remember one of the greatest opera singers of the last century, This is the centenary of his birth: Renata Tebaldi.
Benedetto D'Orio, popularizer and expert in the history of music and melodrama, will narrate in a compelling way the human and artistic story - including little-known or even unpublished episodes - of what Arturo Toscanini called the voice of an angel, and that gathered success and consensus, today unimaginable, in Italy and around the world: in particular it was for years the star of first magnitude of the Metropolitan of New York and, not surprisingly, a star dedicated to her is located on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
The event will be held at the Youth Center of Borgo San Lorenzo (which we thank for the availability), in Viale Matteotti 216, Sunday, September 4 at 16.30. Free admission, recommended mask.
