Excursion to the Passo del Giogo with sunset at Monte Altuzzo and visit
to the Museo Linea Gotica (Mugot)
Easy historical excursion on the Passo del Giogo and visit of the posts and bunkers of the 2nd WW.
Before the excursion the visit to the MUGOT Museum of the Gothic Line to Ponzalla (Scarperia).
Meeting at MUGOT at 3.00 and visit of the Museum (about 1 hour).
Locality Ponzalla, 47, 50038 Scarperia and San Piero FI.
Transfer by own means to the Passo del Giogo and start of the excursion guided at about 16.30
End of excursion at 7pm
Price 15.00 € for adults - 10€ under 15
Route length: Km 8.00
Elevation gain: m 360
Route on dirt roads and mountain paths.
We recommend clothing suitable for the season, hiking shoes, backpack with enough water and snack, sticks and a clean change to leave in the car.

How to reach the starting point:
The Passo del Giogo can be reached by car from Firenzuola following the
SP 503 and continuing for 6 km towards Scarperia you reach the MUGOT
(Museum in Ponzalla) or coming from Scarperia always for the SP 503
where about 6 km before the Passo del Giogo is the MUGOT Museum.
