Saturday 12 April at 17:30 inaugurates the new exhibition ‘INCONTRI’ at the exhibition hall of Spazio Brizzolari in Scarperia
This exhibition was born from the encounter of artists and energies united by the desire to express, each in their own way, their own path and artistic interpretation.
The title Incontri (Encounters) is intended to evoke the magic of art, which offers the opportunity to initiate - or to participate in - an artistic network that is felt to be profoundly necessary in the territory in which we live, the Mugello. A network founded on exchange: of visions, of energy, but above all of time, understood as presence, sharing and mutual growth.
Miriam Greco uses painting as a celebratory act of life, filtered through the lens of her subjective vision.
Colour, especially in its brightest shades, is her happy ally: it comes to life thanks to the oil technique, which enhances its strength and vibration. His visual language oscillates naturally between realistic figurative and an emotional synthesis, in which the narrative relies on the painterly gesture. Decisive brushstrokes and an expressionist inclination translate the intimate dialogue between emotion and message onto canvas.
Chiara Fiorilli, through her classically themed works that range between sculpture and painting, invites the viewer to get involved in the profound meanings that Greek myth continues to arouse. His works do not merely tell stories or depict landscapes; each painting is an invitation to immerse oneself in an emotional dialogue. In this way, the artist creates a space where both myth and reality intertwine in an intimate and personal interaction between the work and the audience.
Far from academic gazes, Siria Fiorilli's painting develops in the intimacy of a room. With strong post-impressionist influences, her paintings escape from reality towards figurative subjects of a symbolist nature. What is most characteristic of her paintings is the choice of joyful colours that stand in stark contrast to the reflective themes through which the painter tells her story.
Larry Sanchez's work is full of an innocent conceptualism, of overlapping and juxtaposed colours and veils, of abstractly defined lines, where they give value, colour, form; where the predominant light and the darkness of its shadow make the aesthetics of the composition.
