Event at the farm Le Casine, Il Castagno d'Andrea
Under the slopes of the Falterona, on Sunday 11 August, the Associazione Foresta Modello delle Montagne Fiorentine (Association of the Model Forest of the Florentine Mountains), at its partner Azienda agricola Le Casine, inside the Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi Monte Falterona e Campigna, organises "erranti note di stelle" (wandering notes of stars), now in its third edition.
At 6 p.m. in the splendid setting of Le Casine's centuries-old marroneta (chestnut grove), the "Baro Drom Orkestar" presents "Uno sguardo a est" (A Look East), original and traditional music from the Mediterranean area and Eastern Europe.
It will be possible to taste farm produce in the Bolletta Hague.
The after-dinner entertainment begins with theatre, "Achab" by and with Marco Paoli, and ends with the Galileo Galilei Astronomical Observatory and the starry sky.
