Middle Ages in leather: discovering an ancient art
#KidPassDays are family days, with the aim of spreading the accessibility of child-friendly culture. Discover the Museums of the Mugello – Montagna Fiorentina Museum System which participate in this great marathon of events organized simultaneously, in collaboration with over 100 museums, cultural spaces, archaeological parks.

On the occasion of "Kid Pass Days" the Dicomano District Archaeological Museum offers a workshop dedicated to families with curious boys and girls! The activity will focus on the period historian of the Middle Ages and in particular will address the topic of leather processing, a very important material important for women and men of that era. It will, therefore, be an interesting opportunity to do a dive into the past and discover an art that is still very active today. The little participants can then put themselves on get to work and create something personal, using scraps of processed leather!
