Il Sospetto by Matteo Cecchini at Spazio Brizzolari
It is freely based on the dreamlike noir by F. Durrenmatt. A Diospero Live Art co-production. Music by ALAN+. On stage Marco Paoli, Massimiliano Boretti, Valentina Cipriani, Matteo Cecchini.
An unmissable opportunity to visit a museum, a one-of-a-kind, dreamlike space dedicated to the artist Antonio Brizzolari, and then immerse yourself in the magic of the Theater with the show "il Sospetto".
THE SUSPECT will lead you to investigate a disturbing mix-up in post-war Switzerland. It is a work that speaks of the most intimate sensation of the human being: the fear that our passage on earth is totally random. Suspicion is a duel, or rather a two-way and philosophical hunt, where the parties involved are unconsciously more similar than they imagine.
THE BRIZZOLARI SPACE
The genesis of Spazio Brizzolari has its roots in the will of Giuseppe Brizzolari, brother of Antonio, a Florentine artist who passed away in 2016. Already in 2015 Giuseppe was involved in the creation of a space that could host Antonio's works; as the work progressed, Antonio developed the desire to transform this space into one open to culture in all its meanings and without prejudice; Antonio would have called this space “Little Athens”. Antonio Brizzolari left hundreds of works on canvas, on paper, on fabric, on sheet metal. He forwarded projects from which reproductions were built in fibreglass, papier-mâché, metal and ceramic; he personally created or personalized with pictorial interventions, clothes, costumes and fashion accessories, such as hats and footwear.
