A metallic feminine aspect by the artist Letizia Strigelli
In Vicchio, at the headquarters of the "Scuola Diffusa del Mugello," in Casa Benvenuto Cellini, an art annual takes place. Twelve exhibitions, one for each month of the year, created by local artists in collaboration with the Municipality and the ProLoco.
And next Saturday, April 13th, at 5:00 PM, the fourth "stop" of this journey will be inaugurated, created by the artist Letizia Strigelli from Palazzuolo, who will be present. The exhibition, titled "Vestem," is a journey to discover clothes not merely as a purely aesthetic and glamorous garment but by delving into their deeper meaning, analyzing the profound significance of the Latin word: "sweet envelope of the soul."
At Casa Benvenuto Cellini in Vicchio, ten life-sized garment/sculptures will be exhibited, each representing a specific emotion: Love, pain, anger... They will be crafted from various materials including fabric, metal, and paper.
The exhibition, which will be inaugurated on April 13th at 5:00 PM, will also be open on Sunday, April 14th, and the following weekend from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
