Tribute to a Woman with a capital 'W': Artemisia Gentileschi
The cultural association E20 - Eccezionali Eventi, in collaboration with the Coop Members Section, the Library, and the Municipal Administration of Borgo San Lorenzo, celebrates March 8th with a tribute to a Woman with a capital 'W': Artemisia Gentileschi (1593-1632 approx.). Artemisia paid a high price for her greatness in an era when being great was considered the prerogative of men alone, to the extent that the word 'painter' had no feminine gender. Daniela Cappelli will narrate her captivating human and artistic story.
