4 days organized among the municipalities of Mugello offered by the Tourism Office of the Mountain Union of the Municipalities of Mugello made available to tourists (for up to 19 people) who already stay in the structures of our territory to let them discover the beauty of our municipalities.
In the first appointment, Sunday 23 July 2023, the group will discover San Godenzo, Dicomano and Vicchio
The itinerary:
- 09:45 Meeting point at the station of Vicchio and departure for San Godenzo in the name of a trek surrounded by unspoilt nature sangodenzina. Arrival at the waterfall of Piscino and small regenerating stop. Return by bus and departure for Dicomano, more precisely for the archaeological excavations of Frascole
- Time of lunch arrival at the Archaeological Excavations of Frascole in the town of Dicomano. Short visit to the archaeological area of San Martino a Poggio - Frascole. Lunch break at the picnic area not far from the archaeological site of Frascole
- 15:00 arrival in Vicchio. Visit the historic center of Vicchio and walk around Lake Montelleri not far from the town center. After a short relaxing walk on the shores of the lake, a short visit to one of the wineries producing Pinot Noir of Mugello awaits us, followed by a tasting of the same with recreational activities
- 16:30 end of activities and departure for the station of Vicchio
The services included in these occasions, offered by the Tourist Office, will be:
- the shuttle service
- the accompanying service of an environmental guide provided in Italian and English
- all active experiences
- the guided tours
It is not included, instead, the lunch (we recommend a packed lunch)
