An unexpected Collodi told by Pier Tommaso Messeri
The Municipal Library of Borgo San Lorenzo, the E20 Association - Exceptional Events and the Coop Members Section of Borgo San Lorenzo present an initiative on the figure of a writer of universal fame: Carlo Collodi.
Pier Tommaso Messeri is well known to the Mugello public for his numerous historical researches, documented and conducted with great rigor, in particular on Mugello characters such as Filippo Pananti and Angelo Gatti.
This time he will talk to us, with his not coumne narrative ability, of Carlo Lorenzini called the Collodi, whose novel The Adventures of Pinocchio - the story of a puppet. has been translated into 260 languages. Pier Tommaso will sweep away the many commonplaces accumulated about him over time, and will enrich his history with particular elements little known if not unpublished.
