This excursion will lead to the refuge Castellonchio, where there will be the opportunity to put "hands in dough" to learn how to prepare the typical "tortelli di marroni", gastronomic uniqueness of the Mugello Apennines and variant of the classic potato tortello. In addition to tortelli everyone could try to cook together the delicious "Torta di marroni"; to accompany the dishes of chestnuts, cheese and ricotta at km 0 and wine and oil "novo".
On the way back we will follow the nature path of Casa d'Erci, where we will taste a glimpse of the life and traditions characteristic of these countries of the Apennines.
