Giancarlo Bigazzi, born in Florence on 05 September 1940, has sold over two hundred and fifty million records worldwide and written and produced over one thousand and five hundred songs. With his creations he has been able to tell in music the emotions of our country, creating some of the most beautiful and indicative pages of costume and popular culture.
The show "Note d'autore" is a tribute to his figure, his music and his life.
Note d'Autore is a prose show with music and video projections, in the tenth anniversary of the death of Giancarlo Bigazzi. A "story" built on memories and anecdotes of a life dedicated to art, music and love for his wife Gianna. An ideal chronological and anthological journey, which traces the territories of music touching the popular roots of Italian song. The staging will be divided into three floors. The musical one, with the singers accompanied by the quartet conducted on the piano by Oscar-winning Maestro Marco Falagiani. The second floor will deal with prose, where an actress will lead, amused and moved, monologues and surreal dialogues. Finally, the third, the audiovisual, when images and footage will be projected.
