We also organize different outdoor activities: trekking, mountain bike, sport fishing, horse riding, cultural and gastronomical trips, swimming. Is possible to reach Florence by car, bus, train or bike. In the garden is possible: to organize parties and events, dinners and barbecue; doing gymnastic; relaxing under the shades of trees, leaving children free to play. Rooms for everybody The sense of freedom and autonomy is displayed by the total absence of architectonical barriers; the furniture too was designed to help people with disabilities. Here You can sleep tight! We take care to people with permanent or temporary health problems; if You use walking steaks or wheelchairs You won't have problems. The restrooms too, are wide and coloured to facilitate also old people. To turn on and off the light is necessary just a light contact; wardrobes are low for children and people on the wheelchair. The Borgo is in a secondary road surrounded by fields and offers relax, safety and silence! Activities The horse riding center is the heart of the Borgo di Elisa; it's mainly a pet teraphy center, where You can cook, dance and enjoy shiatzu massages and other kind of entertainment activities. Our products were realized according to the specific needs of the people with disabilities, their relatives, volunteers and guides. Our main aim is to emprove their daily life thanks to new instruments, projects and modifications on the basis of their direct experience. All our items are easy to wear; shirt without buttons, surcoat and skirts designed according to the wheelchair, and many others. Coloured and easily washable, all the clothes we create follow the TR-HANDY project, which is having a great success among boys and girls with mobility diseas.
