For over 500 years, a representative of the State has always been present in Scarperia, with among their duties the task of organizing and preserving public records

Fancy an aperitif in a beautiful spot? On Saturday, we’ll head up Monte Giovi, a mountain steeped in history, from Etruscan times to the present day. From San Martino a Scopeto, we’ll reach the church of Barbiana, where Don Lorenzo Milani founded his school – an experimental educational project that still serves as a source of inspiration for educational thought today.
