An exhibition that will be inaugurated at the Giotto's House Museum in Vespignano
The exhibition is a tribute to an important Macchiaiolo painter like Malesci, a native of Vicchio, on the 200th anniversary of the birth of one of the leading figures of the Macchiaioli movement, Giovanni Fattori, who between 1880 and 1882 frequented the Mugello countryside, as evidenced by some of his works. Malesci, his pupil, inherited his artistic legacy, expressed through a pure and objective style of painting, with a focus on the study and depiction of the landscape. With this exhibition, we are also inaugurating the new ground-floor layout of the museum dedicated to Giotto.
