Four days of full immersion in the world of drums
The lineup for the Palazzuolo sul Senio Drum Camp 2026 has been announced, an event created in 2021 by drummer Michele Soglia.
The sixth edition will feature GEORGE KOLLIAS (Greek drummer known for his performances with the band Nile and a main artist of the event since the first edition), MICHAELA NAYDENOVA (former drummer of the band Nervosa) and JAY WEINBERG, an internationally renowned drummer known for his work with Slipknot, Bruce Springsteen, and Suicidal Tendencies, who will be in Italy for the first time to offer lessons and masterclasses.
The Drum Camp will take place from 16 to 19 July 2026 in Palazzuolo sul Senio (FI), a small village located 45 km from Florence in the Tuscan-Romagnol Apennines. In 1991 it was awarded the title of “Italy’s Ideal Village” by the European Economic Community and the magazine Airone, and in 2018 it became part of the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy” association.
In addition to daily lessons with the artists, three evening events open to the public are scheduled:
- Thursday, July 16: participants will alternate on the instrument, accompanied by professional musicians, in a jam session.
- Friday, July 17: “The Night of the Drummers,” a unique event featuring performances by the Drum Camp guest artists.
- Saturday, July 18: the Drum Battle, an international competition with prizes, open to emerging and beginner drummers.
