The longer days, spring in full bloom, and day trips...we look forward to seeing you in Scarperia, one of the most beautiful towns in the province, just 30 km from Florence, to spend the two central weekends of April enjoying food, wine, art, and events! At the Scarperia Mixed Fried Food Festival, the star will be the fried fried fish, whose origins are ancient throughout Italy (but the Florentine style pairs meat with fried vegetables of all kinds!), along with the typical fried potato fritters , rigorously handmade and faithful to time-honored recipes; followed by crostini, polenta, vegetables, grilled meats, and more. All cooked with raw ingredients mostly from the Mugello area. You can enjoy all these specialties in the heart of the 14th-century village, in a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The meeting point is at the CIRCOLO MCL at Via San Martino 16 in Scarperia: Saturday, April 11th from 7:00 PM / Sunday, April 12th from 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM Saturday, April 18th from 7:00 PM / Sunday, April 19th from 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM But not only that, you will have the opportunity to combine gastronomy with interesting cultural, artistic, and artisanal initiatives: ➢ The Palazzo dei Vicari Museum of Cutting Tools will be open all day, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
