Have you ever wondered where Tuscany ends and the heart of Romagna beats? We look forward to a fascinating journey to the roots of the New Land of Firenzuola, a borderland where history is carved into the rock.

The birth of a "Terra Nuova": the foundation of Firenzuola, a Florentine bastion in the mountains.
The Lords of the Apennines: we will relive the adventures of the powerful Ubaldini family, the indomitable lords who dominated these peaks.
The Grey Gold of Firenzuola: an in-depth look at Pietra Serena, from ancient extraction and processing techniques to the new frontiers of technology.
Live: The Art of the Stonemason
The most exciting part? We will see the matter take shape: together we will witness a practical demonstration of engraving.
It will be a unique opportunity to discover the secrets of an ancient craft, made of precision, effort and immense passion.

⛰ EXCURSION DETAILS:
Length: 6 km
Difference in altitude: 300 m (ascent and descent).
Difficulty: Medium | E (hiking).
The guides reserve the right to change the route of the excursion and the departure time if they deem it necessary
WHAT TO BRING?
- Technical layered hiking clothing
- Hiking shoes with well-sculpted soles
- Complete gearbox to keep in the car
- Rain and windproof jacket
- Trekking poles if you're used to using them
- Trekking backpack
- At least 1.5 liters of water
- Snacks and packed lunch
- Any necessary medicines
- Seafront/sitting mat

Upon registration, we will place you in the dedicated WhatsApp group where we will share the precise information, all the details for the meeting and where it will also be possible to organize any shared machines.
In the event of non-participation, prompt notification to the organizers is requested by 4:00 PM the day before the trek, to best organize the event and in compliance with our work.
