Casa del Giogo is an alpine retreat situated in the heart of Mugello and run by Impresa Sociale “Intersezioni”. It is situated in Firenzuola just past Giogo, the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines pass, in the Giogo-Casaglia forest complex, at 882 m.a.s.level. The retreat is set in an uncontaminated environment dominated totally by overwhelming natural beauty. Fields, woods, streams, deer, and cows are only but a few of the wonders. It is a territory that needs exploring, in which to lose oneself and awaken one’s senses. There are numerous possible excursions to take from the Giogo Pass. It is ideal for nature and mountain lovers, but offers something for everyone: concerts, shows and workshops.
