For some years now the Mugello territory, with its particular natural setting, has been considered an ideal place for sporting events such as canoeing, sailing and windsurfing – on Lake Bilancino mostly, but also in other localities. There are, in fact, numerous charming smaller lakes where the visitor can spend the day in the open air sport fishing.  Mugello also offers the possibility of flying a glider in Figliano (Borgo San Lorenzo), or relaxing on the remarkable 18 hole golf course in Scarperia.

The Mugello territory also boasts a great number of other recreational activities: swimming pools, mini-golf, archery, rafting and adventure camps.
