Four days of full immersion in the world of drums
Since the year 2021 the in Palazzuolo Sul Senio (Fi) is organized a four-day “International Drumming Masterclass” with the teaching of world-renowned drummers such as George Kollias who has been the main artist of the MasterClass since the first edition.
Drummers from all over Europe take part in the event every year, and the leading manufacturers of Drums and Percussion are active in ensuring their presence, with their range products, at the event
Artists announced for fifth edition of Palazzuolo sul Senio DrumCamp
In addition to George Kollias, main artist of the event until its inception in 2021, Gergo Borlai (Golden Drumstick Prize winner) Andrea Jr. Bessone (drummer of the band “La Sad”), Jonathan Tenerini (founder of the DMS Music School, National Headquarters of the prestigious Scuderie Capitani studio methods) and a fifth artist, of international renown, to be announced in the coming months.
The musical event will be held in the beautiful setting of Palazzuolo sul Senio (Fi) , a small town located in the hills of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, awarded in 1991 by the European Economic Community and “Airone” magazine with the title “Italy's Ideal Village,” and joined in 2018 the “Most Beautiful Villages of Italy” club.
The Palazzuolo sul Senio Drum Camp is aimed at drummers and drummers of all nationalities and starting levels, but it also opens its doors to the public by organizing three evening events with free admission: on Thursday 17 it will be possible to attend a Jam Session, within which the young people enrolled in the Drum Camp will perform; on Friday 18 there will be La Notte dei Drummeristi, a concert featuring the artists and winners of the Drum Battle 2024. Finally, on Saturday 19, the public will be able to attend the Drum Battle, a competition with prizes for drummers, within which each participant will showcase his or her skills on the instrument in front of an exceptional jury.
