About fifty cultural associations, theater companies, dance companies, singers and musical bands, and then poets, painters, sculptors, and artisans who will take turns at various stations set up in the heart of the town for a total of about seventy events over two evenings. These are the numbers of Stradarte, now in its fourth edition, the first to take place in Galliano di Mugello, restarting with enthusiasm and a desire to amaze. From all points of view. A remarkable result for the event dedicated to the arts in general, which will be held on July 12 and 13 in Galliano di Mugello, for which the number of shows, artists, and artisans involved has almost tripled over three days in which culture and art, in all their forms, will be the protagonists. Embracing the historic center of the town that gave birth to Marco da Galliano and saw the invention of the upright piano, just to mention some of the artistic prerogatives of a village steeped in art, with about twenty points of interest where visitors can linger, discovering even lesser-known corners or normally used for other purposes. Stradarte is a street festival, but unlike many similar events that take place in various towns, this one has the peculiarity of promoting and enhancing the local area and talents. In addition to local talents, many artists from all over Italy will perform in the most interesting corners of the historic center.

Stradarte is indeed a street festival, where street artists perform but also where art comes down to the street from its traditional places.
One of the goals, among others, is to bring people back to live the streets of the town, to rediscover alleys and squares from a different perspective than usual and to enliven the Mugello summer. An event that will start in the late afternoon and go on until midnight, with free admission where, with the money saved from the absence of a ticket, visitors can reward the artists who perform “by hat.”
There will also be gastronomic corners where one can savor the specialties of the Mugello area, spending the entire evening among the streets and gardens of the town on the shores of Lake Bilancino, and a colorful market.
The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Galliano, with the technical and artistic collaboration of Periscopio Comunicazione, the significant presence of the Anspi Oratory of Galliano, and boasts the patronage of the Municipality of Barberino di Mugello and the Unione Montana dei Comuni del Mugello.
