The countdown has begun for the captivating Florentine event of the Italian Grand Events Championship scheduled from April 12th to 14th, 2024.
Participation in the competition will be reserved for cars produced until 1990, but there will be a special category for grand touring road cars built from 1991 onwards.
The original race took place on a circuit formed by the roads of the S.S. della Futa, connecting Florence to Bologna, and the Passo del Giogo. On this route, renowned drivers such as Giuseppe Campari, Gastone Brilli Peri, Giulio Masetti, Emilio Materassi, Enzo Ferrari, Clemente Biondetti, Nino Vaccarella, Giovanni “Nanni” Galli, Gijs Van Lennep, Vic Elford, and Arturo Merzario have competed.
The 2024 edition of the Mugello Road Circuit will feature two days of racing, starting from the city of Florence, winding through the most picturesque landscapes of Tuscany on Saturday, and then retracing the historic racecourse to conclude at the Mugello Circuit on Sunday.
The Mugello Road Circuit is part of the Italian Grand Events Championship for vintage cars and the Italian Grand Events Modern Cars Championship organized by ACI Sport.
Returning to the 2024 edition, the organizers have decided to reward the crews that will be the first to register for the event with a discount in effect until March 15th.
