San Piero a Sieve
The church and convent, great jewels of Renaissance architecture, were restored by Michelozzi by order of Cosimo de'Medici.
In the small sacred art museum near the convent, we can admire sacred incunabula, paintings of the 16th and 17th century, sacred books and prints, goblets, but above all the holy crucifix attributed to Donatello.
The precious wooden crucifix style has an inimitable gentleness and softness, only one of its kind, in perfect harmony with the church it is in.
